Splash Adventure training helped our sailing club, Nantwich & Border Counties S.C., a great deal over the winter.  It's normally a time of low activity and interest in the club.  However, we wanted to put on something of interest for the members that would promote continued interest in sailing and further their skills during this slack time.  I was put in touch with Neill Chipping from Splash Adventure training, as a possible source for running some courses for our club. 

Neill was very obliging, meeting the dates we required (working around the existing calendar) and providing excellent training, running a VHF SRC course and a Day Skipper (shore based) theory course.  Both courses were very well received by our members and as word has got around, we're being asked to organise similar courses for next winter. 

As a by product of this training, several members who did the training are now going on to experience big boat sailing using their newly acquired skills.  Overall, this has turned out to be an excellent initiative, and full marks to Splash Adventure training.
